Entrepreneur at heart, Daniel founded the law firm “100 rue du Rhône avocats” in 2009 after having built a solid academic career, followed by professional experience in renowned law firms. A fan of both individual and team sports such as golf or football, Daniel knows how to appreciate the precision of a great technical move. On a daily basis, he puts this quest for excellence at the service of companies active in fintech, real estate or finance, whether they are local SMEs or multinational companies.

Xavier, a great epicurean, juggles both numbers and vintages of grands crus classés. His experience in accounting, acquired over more than thirty years with Fiducior SA, of which he currently serves as chairman of the Board of Directors, is very useful to us in the rigorous conduct of our business. Thanks to his pragmatic spirit, he is always able to find solutions for our company and our clients.

Julien cut his teeth in banking law before joining EMC in 2005. He shares a passion for gastronomy and skiing in the enchanting and mythical setting of Zermatt with his cousin Michel Couturier, founder of the company. A qualified expert in finance and investments, Julien follows and implements the latest developments in legal regulations with which our profession must comply.

Raoul joined EMC in 2003 and became a partner in 2005 after a career as a private banker in a large Geneva establishment and after acquiring experience as a freelancer. A lover of good food and wine, he always enjoys sharing convivial moments around a table with his clients or colleagues and discussing promising investment topics of the future.

A board sports enthusiast, Olivier enjoys surfing the snowy slopes and waves at sea as much as the financial markets. He spent nearly 40 years in the finance industry and joined EMC in 1995 as a managing partner. Gifted with a solid analytical mind, he regularly writes opinion columns for clients and various media. This taste for writing has led him to write three novels published by renowned publishing houses in French-speaking Switzerland.

Olivier Rigot

Calm and level-headed, as the head of the management unit since 2008, François constructs portfolios with as much precision as if devising a cooking recipe. As the chef at home, he knows how to add the ingredients and spices that will give a special flavour both to the dishes served to his friends and to the portfolios that our clients have entrusted us with managing. With a solid academic background, François has over thirty years of experience in the financial markets.

A representative of the new generation, David, with an excellent academic background, has over 10 years' experience in wealth management acquired with leading Geneva banks. A former elite athlete in the Geneva soccer team and pre-selected at national level, David has put his team spirit to good use at EMC. Like his colleagues, he appreciates epicureanism, and shares with us his particular taste for the cuisine of his childhood: Italy.

Michel joined EMC in 1991 after spending eight years with Credit Suisse, where he served as head of a wealth management department for several years. A curious eclectic, educator and a technology buff, in addition to his managerial duties, he deals with IT and the digitization of company processes. A former high-level athlete in rowing, he dedicates his free time to music, especially jazz, and has been active in politics for many years as a municipal councillor.

Michel Augsburger

Throughout his career spanning some forty years in institutional and private management, Mario has put the high standards, perseverance and rigour that the practice of high-level sport requires to good use. He excels at golf with a handicap of four, and has at one point employed his teaching skills as a ski instructor. Far from the tumult of the financial markets, in his free time he recharges by painting oils on canvas.

It is not the gudgeon, but rather the perch or the pike that Charles likes to catch when he recharges aboard his fishing boat on Lake Geneva. A tireless traveller, he regularly travels the world to meet his clients scattered around the globe. After starting his career in the family textile business, he switched his career track to private banking and has been leading the Valex EMC Family Office SA partnership since 2014.

Comfortable in all the tasks that the management of a small entity requires, Sonia is passionate about reading, cooking, cinema, travelling or perusing social networks, all accompanied by a glass of good champagne. Sonia worked for several large local banks before joining EMC in 2010; she contributed to the creation of the Valex EMC Family office SA, where she is a partner.

Always available, smiling and helpful, Sandra is at the front line when responding to clients’ demands and satisfying even their slightest request. Perhaps she can credit this responsiveness to her passion for all forms of dance, which require as much the precision of a ballet move as the explosiveness of rock’n’roll or the rhythm of a frenzied salsa. Sandra joined us in 2019 after having worked for various local banks for many years.

Sandra Dracos

Management Assistant

Jérôme recently joined us to strengthen our asset management team. He holds a bachelor's degree in business economics from the Haute Ecole de Gestion de Genève (HES-SO), and has completed his training with various internships and several years spent with a local independent asset manager. His mountaineering and climbing experience forged his character and taught him to manage risk, a fundamental quality for understanding the financial markets. Involved in public life, Jérôme is a member of one of Geneva's major political parties. He relaxes by spending time with friends around a good table or reading. He also has a curious eye for the art world.

Béatrice began her career at SBS, followed by Credit Suisse in Geneva, before joining our company in 1998 as a management assistant. Organized, precise and independent, Beatrice occasionally regales us with her singing talents, drawing from a repertoire of popular French tunes.

Marta joined EMC in September 2022 as a management assistant after completing her commercial apprenticeship with a leading local private bank. She took the title of youngest in the company from Jérôme and earned the right to break the Escalade pot with the company's eldest, whom we won't mention in these lines... Marta likes to relax after a day's work, listening to music and cooking a dish typical of her native Portugal for her friends, as well as other cuisines from around the world. Eager to discover new horizons, she likes to set off to discover other cultures, with a preference for Mediterranean countries.
